  • A collection of minigames, each representing different personality traits (introversion, extroversion etc.) through gameplay mechanics.

  • Different people, different gameplay; each part of the game will challenge you in a unique way.

  • Explore an intimate snowy town, beautifully hand-painted with attention to every detail.

  • A distinct soundtrack, composed hand in hand with the game's design, by the game's designer, to ensure a cohesive experience.

Pillar has been in development since August 2012, when designer/musician Michael Hicks started recording songs for a new game he wanted to base around multiple characters with different personalities. Not long after this, artist Goncalo Antunes was brought on board to handle the hand painted 2.5D art style required for the game. The first year of development was fragmented, due to school commitments, but during this time various design ideas were prototyped and solidified.

In July 2013, Michael started working on the game full-time and for the next year the game slowly came together. In early 2014, Michael began talking to publishers to find a suitable home for the game. In August, Pillar was officially announced, with plans to release on PS4.
